Six months ago, my wife and I saw a Douglas seafront flat advertised by Cowley Groves. It was a new listing, and the location was exactly where we were looking to purchase. We were overseas at the time. We immediately called the Cowley Groves office in Douglas and had the good fortune to speak to Jo Saunders. She was amazingly helpful, personable, polite and professional.

We currently live in Dallas Texas which has a 6 hour time difference from Island time, so often when we called Jo, it would be at the end of her business day. Even so, she was always willing to listen and provide outstanding help. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the process for completing the purchase was delayed time and again. These delays were due to issues with the building structure and were in no way attributed to Cowley Groves. During this time she was kindness itself, keeping us updated with regular emails, and assurances that things were proceeding, albeit slowly. Her help was especially valuable and appreciated as we were unfamiliar with the real estate procedures on the Island.

Jo Saunders is a perfect example of Customer Care at its finest. She has made the home purchasing process a pleasurable experience and played a primary role in making our retirement home a “dream come true”!
